-We currently have two mailing lists: one for major camp announcements, and another where we discuss event logistics, projects, and pretty much anything else people want to talk about. The announce mailing list is relatively quiet and is required reading for universe members. The discussion-based logistics mailing list can be medium-high traffic in the time right before Firefly, NECTR, and Burning Man, but otherwise is pretty quiet.+We use a Google Group for a camp mailing list.  Anyone who is camping with us for an event must be on the mailing list at least between the point at which they decide to camp with us and the event, but anyone who has ever camped with us is welcome to stay on the mailing list afterwards.  The list is low-traffic except for the weeks before an event we attend.
