How to Add Someone to the Camp
If someone has been approved to join the camp by our New Member Policy, here's what to do next:
- Have them subscribe to the announce mailing list and general mailing list. Suggest that they switch the general mailing list to “digest” if they don't like sorting through lots of email in the months before an event.
- Suggest that they send an email to the general mailing list (theuniverse@) introducing themselves – there is no required format, they can do this however they'd like.
- Share any relevant information about the current event such as a Google spreadsheet, etc.
- Make sure they know about any upcoming camp events such as meetings/dinners/parties
